Dawn lived happily with her father and stepmother
Until around April 1,1973
Shortly after their marriage, Dawn's mother and new husband, Mo, decided they
needed to steal Dawn from her father to make their family complete.
Being a Flight Instructor, Mo, was able to borrow a plane and flew from Colorado
to California. They rented a car and borrowed a friends houseboat down in
San Diego Marina to hide Dawn from investigators
